Incremental Haul Road Dust Control program
The Incremental Haul Road Dust Control Program is for those companies that would rather bring our dust control program in one road at a time. This program will have the same results with regards to dust control. The major difference is that the work will be
distributed over a longer period of time. With this program you will
still maintain a portion of your water truck program to take care of
the roads that have not been converted. The roads that have
been converted will require only the maintenance program with a
smaller truck, operating only as needed to keep them dust free.
This haul road dust control program is essentially the same as the Total Haul Road Dust Control program with respect to the fact that we will be there for the treatment of your roads to assist in the process and to make sure that the program is implemented properly. The product will arrive at the site ready for application. At that point we will schedule a time to start the conversion of your haul roads. Often times we are there when the product arrives, if not a couple of days later depending on your schedule.

The Incremental Haul Road Dust Control Program
Once the first road is converted to a Top-Seal dust free road, it will only require a small amount of Top-Seal to maintain that road in perfect dust free condition. The following graph shows an incremental haul road dust control program with 4 equal length haul roads being converted on a quarterly schedule. As the first haul road is converted to a Top-Seal road, the amount of dust control water that was normally used on that section of road is removed from the total cost of the water truck operation. As we progress through the twelve months, and each haul road is converted, the final cost of the water truck dust control operation is removed. The only expense from that time forward will be the maintenance of the road with a smaller water truck, less water and a small amount of Top-Seal. This will keep the haul roads dust free for years to come.

With our Haul Road Dust Control Program, dust pollution is significantly reduced or eliminated with an initial application, and is permanently kept under control with occasional re-applications on an “as-needed” basis.
